Bio

I tell a lot of tales because life is short and there's not much time.

The short version is I'm a believer in Christ, wife to one, mother of three.  Also a lover of writing, frozen yogurt, rock and roll, English tea and the San Francisco 49ers.

The long version is well, more lengthy.  I'm a prolific author and long-winded blogger, so fasten your seat belts.  I started writing for real in November 2006 when my eldest daughter twisted my arm with NaNoWriMo.  We lived in the Britain at the time, moving back to America, California specifically, in the spring of 2007.  NaNo has been a constant in my life, and since our return, so has the writing.  My first novel, Drop the Gauntlet, was completed in temporary housing as we awaited all our goods' arrival into the port of Oakland.  By that autumn, that initial manuscript was on the road to publication, and since then I have honed my skills and voice, writing over three dozen novels.  I began publishing independently in 2011; in the meantime I write, listen to various bands and solo artists, watch hummingbirds outside my window, read, crochet and cross stitch, watch American football, drive to the beach, drink tea, pray, take pictures of the ocean, watch baseball, edit, visit with my kids, watch Dr. Who and Deep Space 9, sip the occasional decaf latte, plot, write to my daughter attending grad school in Southern California, walk so early in the morning it's still dark outside, propagate spider plants, blog, fill the hummingbird feeder, eat frozen yogurt, watch tennis especially Wimbledon, and absorb playlists while coming up with new novel ideas.  If only authentic clotted cream was within reach, some nice fruit scones too, life would be perfect.
